My good friend Paula wrote a book a little while back called Traffic Exchange SOS and being the good friend I am I FINALLY got to kreate her a splashpage.  To be honest she’s been nagging me to do it since ADK was able to do fully designed splashpages.  I just like the attention I get when she messages me everyday “Is it done yet?!”  But there is more to the story and you’re gonna love it!

So I finish the splashpage at 7am EST and I save it and WHAM! the stupid thing won’t load in the designer.  I’m like oh no not me too.  We’ve had 3 programmers looking into why this happens for several weeks with a lot of “I don’t know I’ll keep looking”.  I may not be smarter then a 5th grader but I think I’m smarter then programmers.  Well at least 3 of them this one time.  For reasons I do not understand because I do not speak programerwakie we as designers (Yes me and you) cannot use certain text characters in our designs.  Well this just isn’t suitable I love using & $ < > and more.  I mean they look so cool in our designs right?!  Ray and I are going to put our programmers on this ASAP.  This will probably cost Mr. White some of his collectible Star Trek figures but I’m sure we can replace them for him this christmas.  Sorry if I offended any Trekkies, Ray usually gets to filter my posts but he’s sleeping so I’m sneaking this one in.  Shhhhh don’t tell!
